Job statuses
Add and colour job statuses, and choose which ones Smartworks sets on jobs automatically.
A job status says where a job is up to, such as ready, in progress or complete. The Statuses page lists every status with its colours and where it can be used. Above the list, three settings choose the status new jobs start in, the status a job moves to when work starts, and the status that marks it complete.

Good to know
The six starting statuses
You cannot change the Name, Code or Description of the six starting statuses, and you cannot delete them. You can still change their colours and where they are available.
Deleting a status
Delete on Status Details is greyed out for a starting status and for a status that jobs are using. Otherwise Smartworks asks Are you sure you want to delete this status? and you click OK.
Hiding the default status
If you untick Available on Scheduler or Available on Mobile for the status chosen as Default New Job Status, Smartworks shows Check Default Job Status after you save. Pick a different Default New Job Status so new jobs start in a status everyone can use.
