The Settings screen

Where each part of Smartworks is set up, and which Settings pages only admins see.

Overview

Settings is where you set Smartworks up for your business: your company details, who can sign in, how each feature behaves, your job statuses, product groups, cost reports and the Xero connection. The menu down the left lists every Settings page, grouped by what it looks after.

The Settings menu, with Company at the top and the Users, Feature, Products, Reports and Connectors groups below

Opening Settings

Click Settings in the header bar of the Scheduler. Settings opens on the Users page. Click any item in the menu on the left to open that page.

How changes are saved

Most feature settings save the moment you change them. Switches and drop-down lists save straight away and show Field updated. Text boxes have their own Save button beside them. Forms such as Company and Edit User have a save button at the bottom.
