Hide Xero suppliers, or let other Xero contacts be chosen as suppliers on purchase orders.

Overview

Suppliers under Connectors opens Supplier Settings, a list of the suppliers Smartworks has brought in from Xero. You can hide suppliers you no longer use. You can also make a Xero contact that is not a supplier in Xero available on purchase orders.

The page

Part What it does
Search Shows only suppliers whose name matches what you type.
Show all Xero contacts Lists every Xero contact, not only suppliers, and adds the Available for POs column.
Name The supplier’s name in Xero.
Hidden Ticked suppliers are left out of supplier lists in Smartworks.
Available for POs Shown with Show all Xero contacts. Tick it to let a contact be chosen as a supplier on purchase orders. Contacts that are already suppliers in Xero have no checkbox here.

The list loads more suppliers as you scroll down. Each tick saves straight away and shows Supplier updated.

Step by step: use a Xero contact as a supplier
  1. Click Settings in the header.
  2. Click Suppliers under Connectors.
  3. Tick Show all Xero contacts.
  4. Type part of the contact’s name in Search.
  5. Tick Available for POs beside the contact.
